Do you get caught up in punctuation, or see the big picture?

Reading the work of e.e. cummings has stirred up this question, as well as some morning thoughts:

Let     it   be.  m Essy.
my rigid gut,it twists.
LET it be,     says the Heart.

but it.s W r o n  g.   Off, and ugly.
maybe it’s  Right.

I      s q u i rm, Tight fists: Let me fix it !
Let  it  Be.
To be proper, It needs  c orre ct   pun.ish.ment.
punctuation, i (think i) meant to say.

Let  it  be.  m e ss y.
I cant! (wont?)
